Quick start

Download + unzip the connector. Keep the folder somewhere permanent (e.g. Documents\RealRacer).

Run RealRacerConnector.exe — first launch walks you through audio + push-to-talk. Python and every dependency are bundled; there's nothing to install.

It sits in the system tray. Right-click the tray icon any time to reopen settings.

Claim this PC when it appears below, then launch your sim. Commentary starts within ~10s of getting on track.

Updating? Re-download, unzip over the same folder, then restart the app. Match the version label above to confirm you’re current.

The name your logger writes into its exports (AiM, MoTeC, Garage 61). We use it to tell your laps from a team-mate's. Saving re-checks laps you've already uploaded.

Max heart rate

Used to colour the live heart-rate tile by effort zone (easy / active / peak) as a percentage of your maximum. Leave it blank to use the default thresholds.

Privacy

RealRacer computes anonymised population benchmarks and coaching datasets from telemetry across all users (Privacy §9). Opting out excludes your telemetry immediately and removes your historical contribution within 30 days.

Default track car

What you usually drive on a real circuit. We use this to stamp each lap with the right car automatically so your telemetry stays organised across track days.
